P1FD experience the world around them

P1 FD went for a sensory walk in the sunshine this week. In PDMU we have been learning about the Five Senses and how, through them, we experience the world around us. Using their senses the children felt the rough tree bark, heard the birds singing and observed the beautiful pattern on the wings of a butterfly. They also commented on the smell of the freshly cut grass and the lovely spring flowers.
