On a sunny Wednesday afternoon, the Holy Trinity Girls' Gaelic football team showcased their exceptional skills and teamwork, securing victories against St Oliver Plunkett, St Teresa’s, and Bunscoil Phobal Feirste.
Match Highlights:
Holy Trinity vs. St Oliver Plunkett: The girls started strong, dominating the field with swift passes and strategic plays. Our defence was impenetrable, leading to a decisive win. 0-4 to 0-0. Some super scores from Amber and Cadhla were enough to get the win. Cara McQuade marshalled the defence superbly and Lucia was a constant thorn in the oppositions side throughout.
Holy Trinity vs. St Teresa’s: Building on our momentum, Holy Trinity displayed remarkable coordination and agility. Their offensive tactics overwhelmed St Teresa’s, resulting in another victory. Holy Trinity's defense was marshalled by Aoibhin. Eve and Gabriella were a constant attacking threat from the half back line. Some fantastic play in the forward line from Myla, Mollie, Eimear and Aoife was enough to get Holy Trinity over the line with a score of 1-5 to 0-1.
Holy Trinity vs. Bunscoil Phobal Feirste: In the final match, Holy Trinity maintained their high energy and focus. Their teamwork and perseverance paid off, securing a triumphant win against a physical Bunscoil Phobal Feirste. Holy Trinity ran out winners 2-6 to 1-0 with Maisie. Eva and Naoise performing admirably throughout.
