Allianz Cumann na mBunscol Aontoma, Boys' Football Championship

The Boys’ Gaelic football team competed valiantly against strong Bunscoil na tSléibhe Dhuibh side. The old saying “Goals win games,” comes to mind as Bunscoil ran out 4-05 to 0-05 winners.

In our second game of the afternoon we came up against St Teresa’s in a much closer game. Holy Trinity took an early lead through some great work from Cody Agnew, Laoire Craig French and Kaidin McChesney. Conall Brown marshalled the defence excellently and chipped in with a fine score to move Holy Trinity further enfront. Unfortunately it wasn’t to be and a superb goal and a point in the closing stages of the game lead to defeat despite the best efforts of Lukas in between the sticks. Shay McCormick and Caoimhin Curran worked tirelessly throughout and were unlucky to end up on the losing side.
