P1 Open Day

Are you thinking of sending your child to Holy Trinity in September? Why not come along to our P1 Open Day on Wednesday 19th December 10am to 11am. We would love to show you the wonderful activities that go on in our school.

Boys’ Gaelic Team Claim B League Title

Congratulations also go to our boys’ Gaelic football team on their recent success in winning the Allianz Cumann na mBunscol B league title. In a series of tightly contested games Holy Trinity displayed outstanding skills coupled with a tenacious will to win. They drew their first game with St. Peter’s before going on to record victories against Ballymacrickett and St. Bride’s respectively. An excellent team performance in the section play-off against St. Peter’s earned Holy Trinity a place in the league final where they met St. Bernard’s(Wynchurch). The boys showed tremendous fighting spirit to come from seven points down early in the first half to record a memorable and much deserved victory. Well done boys!

Girls League Triumph!

Congratulations to the  Holy Trinity Girls Football team who won the Allianz Cumann na mBunscol Girls A League for the first time.  Our girls have been extremely successful over the last year, winning the Belfast Indoor 5s tournament, the All County 5s and then adding the Girls Championship to their haul in June.  The league trophy however was the only one to have eluded them- until now!  The girls squad, which includes children from Primary 4 to 7 negotiated their league fixtures unbeaten to deservedly claim the league trophy for the first time!  Well done girls!

P1 Intake

Parents whose child was born on or between 2 July 2008 and 1 July 2009 are due to start Primary 1 in September 2013.  Application forms are available now in the office in Holy Trinity Primary School.  Closing date for completed application forms is 12 noon on 11 January 2013.  It is also important to remember that the child’s birth certificate should be enclosed.  Prospective parents are invited to attend our Open Morning in the school on Wednesday 19 December at 10 O’Clock.

We have four small classes in each year band so our children do not have to cope with having to learn in very large classes.  We can accept up to 90 children into Primary 1.  We provide a safe, happy learning environment for all of our children.
