These reserve dates will be used by any of the year groups that don’t have Sports Day on the original date planned. As many parents need to take time off work to see their children take part in Sports Day, I have provided a list of approximate times that Sports Day will start and finish for each year group.

Medals will be distributed after each event on all Sports Days.  Our school magazine “Trinity View” will be on sale priced £2.00. Please note that children must remain in school until the end of the school day.

Holy Communion

Congratulations to the children in Primary 4 who made their Communion on Saturday 18th May. Despite the bad weather, the spirits were high. The children looked angelic in their beautiful dresses and suits. Fr Mullhall and Fr. Wallace led the mass in Holy Trinity Church. The children were extremely reverent throughout and were a credit to their families and the school. After the service the children went to the parish hall for some well deserved refreshments. Well done all in Primary 4!

Our New School Minibus!

The children of Holy Trinity Primary School in Turf Lodge had very unexpected visitors this week. They were surprised when Sam Goldblatt, Chairman of The Lord’s Taverners, Northern Ireland, Betty Scott, Chairman of The Lady Taverners, Northern Ireland, along with a group of Taverners and celebrities including Candy Devine and Gene Fitzpatrick arrived to their Primary Seven Assembly with a very large key! The Lord’s and Lady Taverners are renowned for their hard work and fundraising efforts to help young people all over the British Isles. The visitors came to deliver a brand new bright green minibus for the children of Holy Trinity Primary School. The children are overjoyed with their new minibus and can’t wait to try it out. The Principal, Mrs Armstrong, thanked The Lord and Lady Taverners for the new bus and said that the school is delighted to have received this very welcome gift and that the children would make great use of it.
