Good Luck Holy Trinity!

Congratulations to both the girls and boys Gaelic footballers who have recently gone through their respective league campaigns unbeaten. After wins against Ballymacrickett and St Kieran’s, the boys have now qualified for their league final where they will have the chance to defend their title against St Patrick’s (Holywood). The girls’ will also defend their league crown against St Bernard’s (Wynchurch) after successive wins against St Peter’s, St Kieran’s and Holy Child. The finals will take place at the end of November. Best of luck to all the boys and girls involved!

Don’t forget about our coffee morning for parents every Thursday 9:15-11:15. Why not come and have a chat and relax with other parents from our school. The parents room is beside the Key Stage 1 hall.

Middletown Centre For Autism

Middletown Centre for Autism (MCA) are currently recruiting parents from Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland who have a children aged 4-11 years with autism to  take part in a research project entitled  “Sensory Processing and Activity Choices”.  The research will be carried out jointly by MCA and the University of Ulster.   This Project receives full support and is sponsored by both Departments of Education in Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland.

The study will assist parents and professionals in understanding the sensory preferences of children and how these affect their preferred activities at home and school.

Parents can go online and visit www.middletownautism.com/sp for further information and registration details.

Blast Off To Bullies!

November is anti-bullying month. During this month children will learn about bullying through stories, drama, assemblies and discussions. The children will learn about the different types of bullying, including cyber bullying through social media sites and mobile phones. They will also learn how to report it and the consequences if they are involved in bullying. In Holy Trinity bullying of any sort is not tolerated. If you have any concerns or worries please do not hesitate to contact Mrs Boyd.

The following website has some useful information about Bullying.
