Reserve dates have been planned in the event that original dates can not go ahead due to adverse weather conditions. These reserve dates will be used by any of the year groups that don’t have Sports Day on the original date planned. As many parents need to take time off work to see their children take part in Sports Day, I have provided a list of approximate times that Sports Day will start and finish for each year group.
Please note that children must remain in school until the end of the school day.
Holy Trinity P.S. will be closed for the week beginning Monday 26th May. School will reopen on Monday 2nd June.
Your P7 child should receive the Transfer letter on Saturday 24th May. Any child who does not receive their placement letter should contact the Belfast Education and Library Board on 02890564080 between the hours of 3:00 pm and 5:00 pm on Saturday 24th May.
Holy Trinity is being used as a polling station for the upcoming elections. Therefore the school will be closed on that day – Thursday 22nd May.
First Communion will take place in Holy Trinity Church on Sat 17th May. Children should be seated for 10.40am. Children will sit at the front of the church with their class. They will process out of the church and into the parish hall for refreshments. Parents can collect their children from here. After the service parents will have the opportunity to take photographs in the church. The photographer will be in school on Tuesday 20th May if any child would like their photograph taken in their communion outfits.
We would like to extend a warm welcome to Millie and William who have travelled from St. Andrew’s Kaggua Ndejji P.S. just outside Kampala, Uganda. They are here for the whole week and we look forward to giving them a flavour of life in Holy Trinity!
Holy Trinity P.S. will be closed on Monday 5th May. School will reopen on Tuesday 6th May.
Enjoy the long weekend!
Have a lovely break everyone. We are off now until Monday 28th April.
Confirmation will take place tomorrow at 11.00am in the Church. Children are to be seated in their reserved seats at 10.35am. There will be rows reserved for sponsors behind the children. All children need to wear full school uniform. The Bishop has requested that for Child Protection reasons no photographs are to be taken in the Church. The Bishop will be available for photos in the Parish Centre immediately after the service where refreshments will be served.
We look forward to celebrating this special Sacrament with all our P7s.
