Well done Girls!

Congratulations to the Holy Trinity Girls’ Football team who emerged victorious from their group in the recent Indoor Football blitz held at Brook Activity Centre. In a series of tightly contested games, Holy Trinity displayed outstanding skills coupled with a tenacious will to win. The day started with a 14-5 win against Scoil na Fuiseoige and was followed by an end to end battle with Bunscoil an tSleibhe Dhuibh which our girls won 11-1. St Aloysius P.S. were our next match and once again our girls proved too strong before our final group match with also unbeaten St Clare’s. St Clare’s started quickly with a point but as our girls settled into the match and found their range we edged a tight match 7-1. The girls have now qualified for the final against the winners of the other groups. Good luck girls!

P6LM Ulster Orchestra Trip

On Monday 4th November P6LM were invited to attend the Ulster Orchestra’s primary school concert in the Waterfront Hall. Many schools across Belfast were treated to this music ensemble and interactive display. The Orchestra managed to take us round the world to experience music from different cultures. They incorporated curriculum links as well as delivering an exciting concert for those who attended.

Healthy Hearts!

UGAA Healthy Heart Project will be working with our Primary 5s for 10 weeks. This study will assess the pre session, in-session and post session heart rates of Primary 5 pupils over a 10 week period to see if there is a correlation in the involvement in physical activity and a decrease in recovery time and improving resting heart rate. We look forward to starting this project.
