Holy Trinity Primary School continued their work on the High Fliers programme run by Bombardier, when on the 4th October they participated in a presentation on the history and modern uses of kites. They witnessed a presentation on how kites have been used over thousands of years as a leisure pursuit. They also were shown how industries such as the shipping industry are investigating how kites can be used industrially to bring down transport costs of over sea haulage.
The children spent most of the morning designing and constructing their own kites, which they flew later that week.
